CANNOT INSTALL ON Win8.1. Possible cause?

I have a brand new computer Lenovo and as I love BSPlayer I wanted to install it. But I tried already 20 times and no success: I always download the installer, start Installation and it only creates an empty folder BS Player in the downloading folder and thats all. Have any idea how to fix it?

Solved

I have no idea where the problem is but I downloaded older version (2.6.0) and it works. Now I'm considering whether I agree with upgrading... I might not ;)

UPDATE: No, it doesn't help. There's an error in the app and it doesn't download subs (my favorite feature) and has other error messages. PLEASE HELP!
