BSplayer doesn't play anything.

lately my BSplayer doesn't play anything.
all the file assosiations were gone, and trying to open any media file with BSplayer doesn't work, no error messege or anything.
when i try to use "open file" though BSplayer nothing happens.

i noticed a similar issue that was solved:
http://forum.bsplayer.com/answered-s...-bsplayer.html

the only thing that might have changed that could make a differance is some registry entry change by using a reg cleaner software.
trying to use that fix from the post didn't help.

also tried deleting and reinstalling a few times, and updating to the lasest version (v2.67 build 1076).

Please help.

You can re-register extensions in Preferences, just add them.

Open file directly from BSPlayer still works?

Opening files directly from BSplayer doesn't work.
No error messege or anything.
The "open file" botton itself does nothing, the file browser doesn't pop-up when I click it.

I didn't try to re-register manually, I guess that reinstalling did that automatically, but it didn't help.

Edit - I tried to re-register manually through the preferences menu but it didn't work.

If you open BSPlayer and drop a video file onto it, does it play ?

Then I am afraid that (as usually do) your registry cleaner made more damage than good to your windows install. So, probably the last and only solution is a Windows reinstall.
Download Media Player Classics and try to play a file with it.

I see. I hoped i won't have to reinstall to fix it.
other things and other media players work fine though.
I just really like the automatic online subtitles search feature that i couldn't find in other players.

When reinstalling BSPlayer and it's codecs, did you delete also BSPlayer's folders, the one in program files and the one in user's folder ?
