Um he said by the end of the week it would be released but its now the beginning of the next week :(

I just wanted to ask the same question ;)

just a possibility, not a certainty ("should be released by ..."). bst prolly had something else on his mind this weekend then finishing off 1.0, pretty normal for a one man project.

Same question. If you can't keep your promises, don't do it! You better make us a surprise instead of false promises :(

Was that a promise ? I don't recall. I don't think he is not trying to finish the ver 1.0 just to full us. But maybe he is stuck on some problem. And it seems he is trying to improve MP4 support. Read the topic about it.

I'd rather him be late and get it right than rush it and have a load of bugs, and then spend even more time fixing them. Just my two cents.

I don't believe 1.0 will be bugfree as almost every new feature in previous builds introduced new bugs and 1.0 is supposed to be very different than previous versions. Sooner is 1.0 released, sooner we are able to test it and report bugs. Thats my 2Ë?.

To rogerpit and others who complain:

Remind us how much did you pay for BSPlayer? Remind us how much did you send to the author to encourage him to continue to develop this wonderful player? And you come here because there has been 2 days of delay on the initial planning?

I understand it's difficult to wait but such comments "hey where's my player? I'm tired to wait" have no place in here and if I were the author I wouldn't be happy to read that after tens or hundreds hours of hard coding work. It's also my two cents.
