BSPlayer 085.490 -- what's new? It seems like my favourite media player has had an update. Does anyone know what the changes from .488 are? |
From where did you dowload it? This version isn't at the dowload section (last is 488).... |
It's updated for latest Vobsub and some small bug fixes, with some avi files there were only audio and no picture this should be fixed now. It should be updated more often now. I was on 'holiday'... :) |
I request again support for new extended SRT format (bod, italic and underlined tags, [b] [i] <u>). It's not supported in the 490 build... |

There's actually just one more feature I'd want: Smooth transitions between videos in the playlist. With crossfade on video and audio. Is this possible at all? I know it's not easy, but it would be easier for me to use BSPlayer when I am VJ'ing on clubs... Best regards, Henrik |
And if I may add my "wanted" too ;)) it would be great to fix the multi-change AVI. If you have 2 CD (NumberCDs=2), when the first CD is finished, it asks for the second one to be loaded, it detects the CD but still asks for the CD. And what is strange is that it works fine on HDD but nobody has suceed to make it work with CDs set. If this little but most annoying bug could be put on the to do list. :) Thanks. |
I agree with you LordIntruder, I think this feature is very important. With the 488 build, I've made some test. I'm using bsi file ( which are registered in the system ) and I have also the player on my HD. I create my CDs with a version of the player on it... When I launch the movie dragging the bsi on the player on the cd... then it doesn't recognize the second cd ! But then i simply launch the bsi file by clicking on it, then it plays the movie with the player installed on my HD, on it recongize the second CD, strange isn't it ? The version of the player are the same (i think). Am i right ? does somebody have discovered this thing too ? Hope it helps, Matimott |
Can anybody tell me where the new version is downloadable from? I've tried with the link in the download section but it's an empty file. |
