vertical bar with horizontal stripes at the left
 

In this player and in some others, i have with some files a vertical bar with horizontal stripes at the left side of the screen, about 15 percent of the whole image. In the DixX player it´s okay, but that one doesn+t support subtitles.

Just a guess here - do you have any toolbars on the right-hand side of your screen? Or is your taskbar docked there? A similar issue was discussed here: http://forum.bsplayer.org/viewtopic.php?t=3523. It was found to be that BSPlayer will mess up the video unless your taskbar/toolbars are at the bottom of the screen. Any other location causes strange junk to appear on the opposite side of the video.

I´m afraid that´s not it.

No toolbars there. It looks like a codec problem to me, but maybe because it´s all quite new for me. Different films have or don´t have this problem in different players, very random.

By the way, all of them are downloaded as bit torrent files, maybe that has something to do with it?
