Randomize Play list

Hello,

Can someone please tell me how to randomize the play list using BS player? I upgraded my player and I can't find it!
Thanks,
Steve

strangely, it's along with the repeat option (on the main control panel) rather than with the playlist sort controls

Ok, I've looked all over the preferences and all over all the skins I have (including the Base skin).

I cant for the life of me find a randomise playlist or shuffle feature anywhere. I remember there used to be a 'randomise' option in the playlist application menu, next to 'reverse' I believe.

Like I say, I looked in the preferences (which I assume is what you mean by the main control panel) but I cant find repeat either :(

My arm's tired from randomly dragging and clicking my playlist as a form of manual randomise ;)

Well, it seems you don't understand, I will try to help with a picture or two...

The control panel, the player, the skin, the main window, whatever the name you give it, should let you choose between 4 options: [Repeat off, Repeat one, Repeat all, Random]

The default skin shown below support this. On this screenshot, the red arrow shows the text area were you can choose the play mode, by successive clicks.

Here are the references of my favorite skin:
Code:

Author=Seigo

Description=PowerMacLight    24 Nov 2003

Like the default skin, strings are localized, and depends on the language you have chosen. ("al?©atoire" means random in French). All skins don't support this, it's up to the skinner's to implement the feature or not.

You've got it now? :twisted:

Yes, thanks.

I didnt realise you could actually click the repeat bit, i fgured that was just a text field letting the user know what mode it was in. :)
