No sound

When I play a move in windows xp (.avi for example) I get no sound ad all.
I'm not an expert on video players etc, so probably this is another stupid questionâ€¦. But on the other hand stupid questions are easy to answerâ€¦

you may want to check your movie's audio codec using Gspot and refer to HackerWerger's FAQ or adicoto's post for links to the suitable codec/filter
