Default bsplayer message in XP: Can't access temporary directory

I cant' t acces Bsplayer anymore, unless I change to another user;
when I try to open BSplay i get the error message:
Can't access temporary directory
I have deleted all references in regedit, and tried to uninstall, and reinstall,
but it dosn't help.
where do BSplayer store the information on the last file opened, because I think it must be here, the error lies.

8) You should open the player like other user, go to options, general tab, and uncheck the option " Remember last movie played ".
