Auto exit from BSplayer I am integrating BSplayer with myHTPC and with help from this forum it is now integrated and works with my ATI remote :-) I just need to do one last thing and that is that when the movie is over it autoexits (the program closes) and I'm not sure how to do that. Is there a help file somewhere that shows you how to edit the BSplayer.xml file and which commands can be used Thanx |
ExitAtEnd=0|1 Optional Close player when movie is finished, 0-no, 1-yes Command line parameters ----------------------- -fs Start in fullscreen mode -ar=W:H Aspect ratio, ex.: -ar=16:9 -asx Start with x audio stream x=1-> 1st audio stream x=2-> 2nd audio stream x=n-> n audio stream -pan Pan-scan mode -nsub Disable subtitles -skin=SKIN Start with specified skin, ex.:-skin=Base -res=WxHxDxF Startup resolution (W=width, H=height, D=color depth, F=Frequency), ex.: -res=800x600x32-80 -lang= Specify language, ex:. -lang=English -eend Exit when movie is finished -sdown Shutdown when movie is finished -stime=x Start movie at x seconds -deskmode Start in desktop mode -hide Hide controls See the ini files and comandile docs from doc folder on your BSPlayer install folder. |
Thanks for the answer. When I write that into the bsplay.xml file then nothing happens and the second time I open til file the line is gone. What am I doing wrong. |
Those commands refer to .ini files or to launching BSPlayer via a command line, not to the .xml configuration file. |
Does that mean that I have to make a new .ini file or is it possible to alter the XML file. Could you please send me an example of a standard .ini file. Does the .ini file overrule what the XML file says ? Thanks |

Thanks for the reply - I have now made an .ini file - and here is my last question, as I could not find the answer in the links you posted. Where should I put .ini file when I want to play the movies from the harddisk and not from a CD |
IN the instalation folder of your BSPlayer. |
Is it possible to auto exit from BSplayer when I stop the movie (and its not finished) |
