How do you turn off fast forward or fast reverse?

Fast forward is turned on by default using Ctrl-F5 and fast rewind by Ctrl-F6. However, I am unable to determine how to stop fast forward and rewind.
Hitting pause in either FF or FR pauses the search, but when you hit pause again it doesn't go into play mode but resumes the search mode you were in.
There's no help file (that I can find) and hitting Ctrl-F5 again in Fast Forward resumes playback from the beginning of the file. What's the point of fast forwarding if you can't resume from the point you've fast forwarded to?
Also, hitting Ctrl-F6 again in Fast Rewind actually closes the video (in this case, an .mpg music video I downloaded) file!

Am I missing something here?

Oh, by the way, IMO the "F" key for fast forward and the "R" key for fast rewind are better choices. I know I can change the configuration for those in options, so no need to point this out. I also know that "F" is the default toggle key for full screen mode and am sure that "R" is probably the default toggle key for something else. Just haven't looked for it yet.

But back to my original question, how does one turn off fast forward and fast rewind and resume normal playback from the point you've fast forwarded or fast rewound to?

TIA :D

First of all update to latest BSplayer version.

You stop ff or rw by clicking play (or pressing X).

I just downloaded the newest version and installed it this morning (before I posted my question). Using "X" doesn't do the job on my system. However, I've reconfigured the program to use "F" for fast forward and "R" for fast rewind. Now they both turn off also by pressing "F" and "R" respectively. However, stopping fast forward resumes play where it should (where you advanced to) but stopping rewind resumes play in another place than where I've rewinded to. This has been a problem since the first version, at least on my system.

Thanks! I'll be looking forward to it. By the way, thanks for your excellent program!
