XVid files won't load and will freeze BSPlayer
 
I tried re-installing, I tried downloading latest versions of the codec, still won't load and will freeze BSPlayer, can't even end task... what do I have to do?

please help - I love BSplayer, I don't want to use any other player.

no one? :( pleeeease I've done a lot of the stuff people here tell to do but I still can't watch XiV - someone must know what to do! :cry:

man , the file you try to see is corupted , wait a minute and you will get the ''file corupted, seekeng wil be very slow''message . note that the bsplayer never will crash , just wait a lttle(depending of you hardweare performance) and you will see your movie, but don`t try to move the seek bar. :lol:

I have seen this happening only with SVCD files, when no MPEG2 decoder was on the computer. Maybe it is not an XviD file ? Does WMP open the file ?

Try running the file in Gspot and see what it says.

you can try to install ffdshow , that myght do the trick....
