ogg vorbis I've encoded a few movies using ogg for sound. I am not able to play any of my movies like this (the extension is ogm) am I doing something wrong? An option I am overlooking? tia Tom |
make sure the direct show filters are installed: http://tobias.everwicked.com/ if youre still having problems, read this: http://www.doom9.org/ogg.htm |
They are installed. Its on the same machine that I made the movie on. Dose it work for you? |
Are you using windows 98? If so, you must use an earlier version of the DSF's (v. 0.987, I think). |

As W98 user definitely don't use Oggsubmixer DSF. They are developped on XP and not corected for W98! We need more info: Did you do you muxing audio (oggVorbis) AND VIDEO (?) with OggMux or at least graphedit ? If you mux it in Virtualdub and rename it to .ogm : no go. If you did everything correct, how do you open your file? If you just click on it, it must be registered through bsplayer - check options ! But anyway you can load it in the player via dragging.... I assume you installed latest bsplayer ?? Or another thing: if it contains several VIDEO streams then you must have early 0.85-489 installed - look under feature requests in this forum for link, I'm too lazy now... |
