Hi!

Just read the posting of "obob" Fri Nov 19, 2004 5:49 am - who was having the same problem as me but I did not see any answer??????

THIS WAS A DIRECT QUESTION WHICH SHOULD HAVE BEEN ANSWERED I BELIEVE.

SO here is mine :

Well i have a MIRO PC TV card and a trial version of BSPLAYER but i can't seem to see the option where it can cap live tv even when i click BSplayer Pro capture shortcut in the startmenu it opens up what seems regualer bsplayer i dont see any diffrence between them so if some one could please help me here i would gladly apprcaite it.

I'am trying this for a day or two else I will move to a better supported software.

THIS ANSWER SHOULD HAVE BEEN PUT IN THE faq AT LEAST I BELIEVE?????????

Thanks

In the pro version, when you click on "open capture device", the TV cap window is displayed. After that, from "capture settings" you can adjust video surce, codec used for compresion, resolution and so on.
The functions are greied out (unavailable) in non-pro versions. Don't know anything about a trial version.

Actually, in build 820, the "Open Device" & "Capture Settings" are not present at all in the free version, & are only "Greyed out" in the menu of an unregisered copy of " BSPlayer Pro".

Alfairfoot:
It sounds to me that your problem is a simple matter of u not having registered/activated your copy of "BSplayer Pro", before trying to access this "Pro only" feature!
Activate your BSPlayer instalation, & the TV functions will become available (cease to be greyed out).

I'm afraid I cannot help you on this, but as a buyer of BSPlayer Pro you are entitled to receive direct technical support from BSPlayer-team and you can mail your technical questions to support@bsplayer.com

Seems that some proprietary TV capture cards are not supported by BSPlayer. Maybe somebody from the team can confirm this. I've tested on Leadtek and ATI cards and get the same erorr about qcap.dll. Mine is a PixelView and works OK.

My TV Tuner has Philips SAA7134 chipset, and have no problem when capturing...
