Problem with screen capping..

Okay. So I've figured out how to screen cap, but I'm having a problem with keeping the aspect ratio. Even when I use the shift key, it still gives me an aspect radio that's completely off from what is "normal".

Is there a way to "fix" what the screen cap size is?

Have you tried different video rendering modes? Changing that fixed a somewhat similar issue I had.
