Why length of film less present?

At me in bsplayer length of film of 18 minutes. In divx film of 59 minutes.
Why?

Is this an avi or an MPEG2 video ?

actually, i have the same prob but with mp3's. bsplayer says the file in question is 7:58 min ling but its really 4:58 min long. I confirmed this in winamp, I aslo tried changing the skin in case that was the prob, it wasn't.

Try using this MP3 Decoder: http://www.dsp-worx.de/index.php?n=9
It should fix problems in VBR File Lenght and other problematic MP3 files issues (this decoder doesn't affect AVI's MP3audio streams).

Note: I haven't tried it myself
