Which video rendering mode?

Which video rendering mode to choose in latest BSPlayer 1.36?
Im using GF4Ti4200 and 56.72 drivers (last good one that fully suport TVTool). Currently using Overlay Mixer...Seems best picture quality..

What is the difference between:
- Internal renderer Direct Draw surface
- Internal renderer overlay
- Internal renderer RGB mode
- Internal renderer RGB overlay
- Overlay Mixer
- VMR7
- VMR7 renderless (i know that this is mode for using VMR7 mode with subs)
- VMR9
- VMR9 renderless (i know that this is mode for using VMR9 with subs)

And which one should be best in my case (watching movies on TV via TVout in 768x576 resolution via TVTool program)

Thanks.

Edit:
I just noticed that internal support for VobSub subtitles (idx/sub) won't work with Overlay Mixer, VMR7 and VMR9 (movie doesn't start, all I got is black screen)...but works with interlal renderers and VMR renderless 7 but not VMR9...
If I disable VobSub suport in BSPlayer and and use external DirectVobSub filter, movie play normaly with subs in any of rendering modes....
I think there are still a few bugs with VobSub subtitles (idx/sub) support.

Yeah, I wonder about this too - what is the best overlay mode?
Oh, and the default one doesn't even work for me... :(
But I can enable all others, like VMR7/9, overlay mixer, etc.
So, what could be the problem and which one is the best?

AXP1800+/ATI9600XT with all the necessary codecs, updated drivers, just as it must be.

Can someone from BSPlayer crew answer please?

Which rendering method should I use??

I'm so confused :/

Wow, you're reviving a 5 year old thread. Seems like .. (no I won't say it).
Anyhow, to add to your confusion: there is a further rendering mode, i.e. "EVR" (Enhanced Video Rendering) for Windows Vista and 7.
You wonder which rendering method you should use?
Well, there is not one single answer to this question. Simply because we don't know (as you failed to tell us) anything about your PC, its OS and its graphic card and its drivers. These several rendering options are there because there are many different combinations of hard- and software and - of course - also personal preferences.
So the real answer simply is to use the one which gives you the best picture and options. Experiment with it and then select the one you prefer.
