100% cpu usage I have the latest version of BS player (1.35) and whenever i adjust the volume or skip forward or backwards my cou usage max's out for around 5 seconds or so. Everything goes into to slow motion (mouse/movie etc) and my pc is non responsive. Any ideas? |
Latest version is 1.36.825  I have no problem with it.. Which kind of videos gave you this problem? (filetype/encoded with) |
Sorry my mistake... Every video file i try causes the same problem,i've re-installed twice and its still the same I've just installed the latest version and the same thing is happening. Can nobody help?? looks like i'll have to ditch bs player and find something else to use, because this is so annoying..................... |
It may depend by the codec used for the decoding process... Which codecs do you use? If you have a computer with +700MHz CPU, then you could use DivX codec for DivX and generic MPEG4 files (and maybe XviD for xvid files). If your CPU is slower, maybe try using FFDShow and BSplayer version 0.86.501 (read BSPeter's Help2Help post to know where to download it). If you search the forum you can find several posts regarding slow cpu configurations. Another possibility is to change the overlay settings in BSplayer preferences  P.S. BSplayer is low in CPU and memory consumption (maybe the lowest player on the market) |
Im using Klite mega codec pack,my system specs are: Amd 2.8xp 512mb ram FX5900 ultra |
