.avi : It doens't show the video...
 

Hi all,
i got this problem with BS,probably since when i installed windows media player 9,but i can't be sure.
The player reads fine .avi files, but not all of them! Some of them, are recognized properly, but played just as an audio file,the screen keeps black.
It seems a codec problem, but even if i uninstall codecs, bs, and then i reinstall everything, i got the same problem. Windowsmedia9 reads this avi which are not read by BS, so the files should be ok.
Any advices? Thanks a lot.

Try "Rendering mode" VMR9 under
(rightclick >) Options > Preferences > Video > Video rendering.
You can always switch back to your present (or another) rendering mode later.
