How do I put subtitles under the movie?

I use Bsplayer in my monitor and in my TV but on TV there are 2 black stripes (over and under the film) as the film is in 16:9 mode. How do I put subtitles under the movie so it will appear in the black area below the film and not over the image? I tried the extend video option in video rendering without success. Thnaks for the help

Thanks Tizio but did not make what I wanted, it only uses the movie area and not the black area below, there is a simple player called Allplayer that do it very well resizing the screen in the monitor by putting the legend under the film and the result in TV is perfect. There must be a way to do so with BSP...

Image quality decreased and subtitles disappeared.

Would overlay mode 2 solve this ?

It is now working, strange... I was watching JacobĀ“s Ladder without success with the settings, now I decide to change film and loaded Revolver and worked fine. I also noticed that each film has different screen formats and appearence. Is there a way to make them open allways the same way? The ideal is 4:3 with upper and lower black area where legend should appear. My TV has a 16:9 screen and with this setting everything is perfect. Thank you anyway

My happiness was too short, now some movies do not open correctly. Some HDTV movies scramble the screen. Others open in a very strange screen format. It is really anoying have to reconfigure everything for each movie loaded. I decided to try Crystal Player Pro and everything is really fine, legends below the film, all movies open the same way, I think I will discard BSP...
