Keyboard and Mouse controls disappeared

As well as some settings, like the OSD font preferences.
I don't really know why or how.
This seems to occur after some buggy movie or codec's been played and made bsplayer crash which required me to close it.
I can't seem to get the keyboard shortcuts or mouse-wheel to control the bsplayer screen anymore. The size-control by scroll-wheel, as well as the F key for full screen, the 1, 2, 3 keys for size, and the up-down arrow for volume etc. seem disabled.

Where is this stored/set ?

This applies to the following:
BSplayer 1.37 build 826
Windows 2000 updated to today's latest MS patches.
Video: GeForce 6200, NVIDIA compatible, 1280 x 1024 at 32 bit with 60 Hz.

I've had this before, and after I ran the installer (a new version had appeared) it was gone. This time that trick doesn't work. Probably because there's no new version? It might be solved when I uninstall and reinstall, but then again, this is something I thought you should know about.

Thanks for any advice.

Go to BSplayer folder (usually C:\Program Files\Webteh\BSplayer\) and delete the BSplayer.USER_NAME.xml file (where all the settings are stored) and the problem shoul be fixed :wink:

OK, that fixes it, but it also deletes all your preferences, which kinda' sucks.
What strings in the .xml are those related to keyboard and mouse control?
(deleting those would be enough, right?)

The corresponding line in BSplayer.USER_NAME.xml file is the loooong one starting with
<Keys type="kbin">
and ending with
</Keys>

To do this you can also use my program BSP Definitions Manager, and choose to "Blank all definitions in BSplayer".
Give it a try and let me know :wink:

(maybe you can also try to use the BSplayer button "Reset to default" present in the Preferences section "WinLIRC and key definitions")
