bsrendv2.dll too old

I just downloaded BS Player version 1.39, build 829, Feb 16, 2006. mEvery video file I attempt to play causes the subject message to appear and I am unable to play any video files.

Actually BSPlayer.exe and bsrendv2.dll form a pair. Every new build of BSPlayer.exe has its own accompanying bsrendv2.dll-version. Seems something has gone wrong. Where did you download? Did anything go wrong during installation?

Download BSplayer from original homepage and the problem will disappear!!
If you want to use older versions, thake a look at BSPeter's Help2Help topic, item (a) under MISCELLANEOUS section (link in his sign)

BSPeter 19th February 2006 07:14 PM

With respect to M E G A codec packs, please refer to item (4) of my Help2Help-post.
(More isn't better; to the contrary!)
@trucker: filedate 05-09-2005 concerns version 1.36 build 825 (another reason not to use packs, but to always download software directly from the websites of the original creators, which have the latest versions)

bsrendv2.dll

Thanks to all of you, especially BSPeter who got me straightened out. I didn't make the immediate connection to the mega pack, but after that reply I downloaded from this site and now everything is OK!

I'm glad if Tizio and I could help you sorting out your problems by our pointing you in the right direction!
