Since I only have 2 speakers, and only stereo output on my moderboard (I don't have an audio card, but a builtin audio chip) I'm not able to help you furter.
Probably you can properly use all of your speakers with files with AC3 audio streams in them (use GSpot to know which files have such a track) since the AC3 audio is made to support 5+1 outputs, while mp3 usually are only mono/stereo.

You can try to take a look at the audio settings in BSplayer preferences window. Maybe you have also to change the Output Device there..
Take a look also to the Intervideo AC3 section...

I'm not very skilled with these audio things, probably someone else on this forum is

If I remember correctly somewhere I read a way to play mp3 streams with all the speakers, but I don't remember where (if here on the forum, or on other sites) :?

You should wait for other suggestions or you should search by yourself on the internet.. sorry..
