pacemaker plugin
 

pacemaker -- a winamp-plugin (can change the tempo of the sound without changing the pitch) works perfectly in winamp. but crashes everytime with bsplayer. it would be great if bsplayer can eliminate this bug.

Which version of peacemaker are you using?

i have v1.32 and v2.1.
both crash with bsplayer

both crash with bsplayer v1.42 and v2.00

I'll try with the one I have. I'm sure it worked with BSplayer old versions, so I'll test it tomorrow with newer BSplayer version and if it will work I'll post it here so you'll be able to use that nice plugin :wink:

i have already tried that "Fourier Pitch/tempo Control".

it does work, but with certain noise constantly in the background. a bit disturbing!

pacemaker is much better, concerning the sound.

Ok, just tried (I couldn't wait tomorrow :P )...

Bad news, it worked before, but now it don't work.. With MP3s the audio has a lot of noise and the tempo/pitch is not changed, with AVI the tempo changes, but once you seek forward/backward in the movie, BSplayer hangs-up :(

EDIT:
just an impression, the AVIs suffer of the same behaviours as the MP3s

IMHO, the audio quality produced by the Pacemaker and Fourier Pitch/tempo Control are rubbish compared to Chronotron, which in turn is rubbish compared to 2xAV, which again in turn is rubbish compared to almost any formant correct time scaling / pitch correction VST plugin (not necessary real-time) or Creative Sound Blaster Audigy series of cards with EAX providing the time scaling.
