Quicktime: No video, only sound
 

Hello

I am using K-lite Mega Codec Pack with BSPlayer.

The problem I am having is, when I try to play mov files with BSplayer I can not see the video. BSPlayer accepts the file as an audio file and plays only the sound.

the strange thing is, when I play the same file with Itunes or IE browser there's no problem, I can see the video and hear the sound.

Is there a way to fix this problem?

Yes, there is:

1)DO NOT use codec packs

2)install QT alternative

K-lite includes QT alternative. But even with it installed there are some files that won't play in BSPlayer. I did run into some files some months ago, generally verry old files.
