BSPeter 15th November 2006 08:33 PM

If clone mode is selected in NVIDIA nView Properties an additional choice appears in the control panel between "Video Overlay Settings" and "Tools", i.e. "Full Screen Video". If you click on that, an option appears to select "Full screen device". Select "Secondary display" there (assuming that that's your TV).
What happens?
(P.S.: I'm using ForceWare version 84.21)

You didn't answer either question! Tizio referred to the Rendering mode selected from the drawdown/rolldown-list.

I asked what version as I only have two check-boxes under Video Rendering! Unfortunately I've not installed your version any more.

Try to use this version
Plus if you select English as BS.Player language you'll be able to see which option is "Rendering mode"
In rendering mode you can choose between different "modes"
Code:

Internal renderer DirectDraw surface
Internal renderer overlay (default)
Internal renderer RGB mode
Internal renderer RGB overlay
Overlay mixer
VMR7
VMR7 renderless
VMR9
VMR9 renderless

can you tell us which one have you choosed?
Have you tried to change rendering mode?

i try to change rendering mode under (rightclick>) Options > Preferences > Video > [Video rendering] and now i can move subs down to the black bars but i can't see the subs on tv screen now

itayy1 18th November 2006 07:27 PM

?

i see also this under

As long as you're really "extending" the picture (which depends on the original (real) ratio of the movie vs the screenratio of 4:3) it works.
this means what? that there is no solution?

BSPeter 19th November 2006 12:59 AM

No, to the contrary I would say.
I don't know if it may be of relevance in your case.
Sofar we still don't know what rendering mode you're using.

Another question which I have is: did you already try "Draw subtitles to Overlay surface" under
Options > Preferences > Subtitles > [Subtitle properties]?
And further: what type of subtitles are we talking about (see item (9) of my Help2Help-post)?

itayy1 19th November 2006 08:31 AM

answer

the rendering mode that i use is "Internal renderer overlay (default)"
in this mode i get subs on tv but can't move them and with another mode i get subs that i can move but not on my tv
the check box "Draw subtitles to Overlay surface" is checked
the type of subs is: x.srt and x.sub same problem with both

itayy1 19th November 2006 10:15 AM

please help

please help me, i'm so desperate... somthing so simple will be so hard?
in the rendering mode:
one option gives me a moving subs up and down but can't see them on tv(internal rendering DirectDraw)

another option gives me a moving subs that i can see on tv but the movie isn't full screen unless i maximize it in computer(internal render RGB)

another option gives me subs that can move only up and not down to black bar(defult)

OK, let's stick to this last option for now (where you can at least move the subs on TV). I think it has now become time to try BSPlayer's feature "Extend picture to" (assuming that you have a 4:3 TV and (e.g.) a 16:9 movie).
In Options > Preferences > Video > [Video rendering] just below the radio-buttons Mode 1 / Mode 2 there is a box offering several possibilities to "Extend picture to". Assuming that in Israel you also have PAL as TV-standard: select "576 lines" (For NTSC it should be 480).
Any result?

itayy1 19th November 2006 04:13 PM

:(

i do that and the subs are in the black bar but the picture is very small
and they still don't goes down
i just want to move them down with a normal picture

uncheck/deselect "Don't resize video in full screen"
( under Preferences > Video > [General] )

itayy1 19th November 2006 09:24 PM
