What "merit" should i use?

To set merits, i saw different types of merits, which merits are proper for which purpose?

I mean, what merit should i enter if i want to use the decoder or don't?

Please post the all of merits that can be entered without any problems.

Thanks.

The lower is the merit, the less likely a specific filter will be used. Some 24 bit values translate like this:

0x800000 MERIT_PREFERRED
0x600000 MERIT_NORMAL
0x400000 MERIT_UNLIKELY
0x200000 MERIT_DO_NOT_USE
0x000000 MERIT_SUCKS ;)

Also there are filters with merits except J7N's sent.

For example for quartz.dll, it's "40000001". What does it mean?
