When I change this old nvidia card to clone mode, to display on tv through tv out, BS wont play avi files it says,

The instruction at "0x020e5ef1" referenced memory at "0x0008ac64" .The memory could not be "read".
Click on OK to terminate the program
Click on Cancel to debug the program

Clicking either crashes BS.
Why it do this?

It works with anything else mpg's mpeg's dvd it displays on other screen fine but with avi's it crashes, ive tried for about 3 hours to register every codec and filter I have (I have alot of them) and still same error.
