crash while loading external audio track...

hi guys :)

as you can see on topic my bs.player got some serious problem!

i've downloaded the version 2.20 and everything went very well but at some point it's not possible to load an external audio track. :(

i'm using windows xp and the k-lite codec package.

hopefully one of you can solve my problem :)

(btw. i'm not the only one with that problem but didn't find any solution for that problem)

bye bob :)

I'm afraid version 2.20 is no longer on my PC, so I cannot test.
Maybe first update to the newest version at present, i.e. version 2.22.
(I tested with that version and an external mp3-file and had no problem!)
If your problem persists, come back to the forum with more info.

well, long story short...it doesn't work -.-

i don't get it...it went very well but at one time it starts to crash while loading an external audio track. with google i found some other persons who also got the same problem!
do you know any other player who can play simultaneously a video file and an audio file?

what kind of further information do you want?

Well ... type of video, filter/decoder used by BS.Player (with file loaded: rightclick > Options > Filters > Advanced) and type of external audio (e.g. if it is AC3 it won't work I'm afraid) would be a good start. Also installed/uninstalled any other player or codec-pack (general advice: stay away from codec packs) or drivers recently?

That is not true.

If internal and external audio are both AC3:

And if there is no "internal" audio at all. However I just tested a file (Mkv/mpeg-4asp/mp3) with an external ac3 and switching between the two audios was working properly. I suppose it wouldn't work if the ac3 configuration somehow monopolized audio hardware or something like that, so several audios with different parameters would not be possible.
