Need recommendation for AverTV capturing to play in BSplayer

Hello,
I have a AverTV Studio 203 and under Windows 2000 there wasn't noticable problems but in XP SP2 there are huge problems.

However i've installed AverTV Studio own software version 4.30.0.0 then it installs InterVideo's FilterSDK which are cruel filters have destroyed XP and produced a lot of problems. For example although i record Mpeg2 videos in capable settings such 704x576 @ 25fps, with Bsplayer Pro i can't play them or Bsplayer fails with invalid process.

However which software should i use to play them properly in Bsplayer? Because other videos (mpeg2, or wmv) can played OK but Aver ones cannot.

Thanks for advises.

And what does GSPOT tells you when loading these files?

GSPOT does not recognize MPEG files correctly. But my captured files cannot be played in BSplayer interrupting sometimes with a error, sometimes with nothing.

My MPEG files are correctly recognised by GSPOT and I BSplayer is able to play all my captured files :?

Which version of Gspot? Anyway there's no big problem with Bsplayer during playback, the annoying thing (even not problem) is Gspot's integrated rendering function's error report as seen in screenshot.

mhm... Never used/installed MainConcept codecs.. What happens if you uninstall it? Anyway my GSpot version is the same as yours 2.70a
Do you really need Nero codecs? Nero Burning ok, but you can unregister its filters... no? Tried with Cyberlink decoder? Maybe on another PC to not mess your system up with other codecs
