Controlling BSPlayer using HP expresscard remote???

I just ordered a HP notebook and cant live without BSplayer, but it would be even great if I could actually use the remote I am getting to control BSPlayer...Is it possible to control BS Player functions using HP express card IR remote control?? If not, is there any way using some plug-ins or software or tweaks to make it work???? I am reading a lot about some third party softwares like SlyControl, btRemote and some names like Girder and winLIRC. Which one exactly works??

Thanks for help!!!

Did you already read item
(d) Girder / WinLIRC / Remote controls / (Multimedia) Keyboard ? of my Help2Help-post (a.k.a. "READ THIS FIRST BEFORE POSTING"?)
You can find it nearing the end of that post.
