Default Question about autoplay

I looked through previous autoplay threads but couldn't find this exact issue.

I'm using BSPlayer Pro 2.23.

Here's what I want:

1) If I double-click an AVI file, it opens in BSPlayer and starts playing.
2) If I start BSPlayer by double clicking BSPlayer.exe, it opens without auto-playing the last file it played.

If I put a check in the "Auto play" box in the general settings, I get #1 but not #2. If I uncheck "Auto play", I get #2 but not #1.

Help?

I have v2.27 and this is my scenario:

AUTOPLAY ON
1) If I double-click an AVI file, it opens in BSPlayer and starts playing.
2) If I start BSPlayer by double clicking BSPlayer.exe, it opens without auto-playing the last file it played.

AUTOPLAY OFF
1) If I double-click an AVI file, it opens in BSPlayer without auto-playing the video.
2) If I start BSPlayer by double clicking BSPlayer.exe, it opens without auto-playing the last file it played.

Well, your first scenario is my goal. So what could be making my setup auto-playing the last video played when I start up BSPlayer directly? Must be some other setting...

Have you modified BSplayer's shortcut?
You can try to rename BSplayer's settings file (by default is C:\Documents and Settings\USER_NAME\Application Data\BSplayerPro\BSplayer.xml otherwise it's located in BSplayer installation dir) to something else, then start BSplayer and the settings should be resetted to default values.
Now you can try again to play your videos and see if you can replicate my first scenario..

You can also try to update to latest BSplayer release which is v2.27
GOOD LUCK!
