Why is it that my media library looks nothing like the screenshot on the MediaLibrary page?

I feel like I'm going a little crazy here, but nothing I do seems to change the skin and maybe it's a little superficial, but I'm looking for an attractive ML (and this weird blue thing doesn't do it for me). :-)

Any pointers appreciated.

Supposing that you use default skin you did click on the circular button with ML in it?
Alternatively rightclick > Media Library
It shouldn't change the skin but open the sepatate ML-window.
Can you upload a picture of what it does look like with you?
