I have virtually the same problem with 1080 & 720p,the picture stutters or freezes,and goes out of synch.
I tried Media player classic home cinema,that plays it fine,but i can't lose the subtitles.

I've tried various versions,including pro version 2.50 and the sound's fine but the picture either freezes or stutters,i have 2 different monitors for my CPU usage,1 of them Windows task manager.

The bs Player in my opinion,is the best media...

The bs Player in my opinion,is the best media player out there.
It beats Media Player classic,which is my 2nd fave.
My fave codec is MKV,which is best for 720p & 1080p HD rips.
BS plays them...

9/10 it loves my MKV files,i prefer them...

9/10 it loves my MKV files,i prefer them too,richer in colour,sharpness of picture.
VLC apparently comes with internal codec pack,but stutters with MKV's.
My only gripes are the annoying subtitle...

There's an annoying message in the top left corner,about checking for subtitles.
If i want subs that badly,i'll go to subscene or try with BS...

Is there a way to turn off the search for subtitles?
It's annoying especially when there are none,or you don't need them,to see checking for subtitles in white in the corner of the screen.
