I have a 4:3 TV.
When I watch 16:9 films and I do not "stretch" the image, I have two black bars on the screen, one below the movie and one above.

I would say textbased .srt (SubRip) subtitles...

I would say textbased .srt (SubRip) subtitles represent the overwhelming majority in the Netherlands. Contrary to what you suggest, they are fully supported by BSPlayer. [/quote]

- load both movie and sub in SubEditPlayer
- change the format of the subs
- save the subs
- play them in BSplayer
