Unfortunately, I have similar problem... I have FFDshow with FLV splitter installed, but only some FLV files can be viewed in BSPlayer. For example this video works...

ok, i was trying to solve the problem with that instant crash on open button - and I found out that _every program_ crashes when I try to go to the folder, set in the system as my video folder...
