I agree, this is a really good idea. The nVidia Radeon drivers/player has something like this, and it's really useful. It basically lets you make the window always on top and partially transparent.

In 0.86 most, if not all, of my files, when I zoom to 200%, the video gets really choppy, though not out of sync with the audio. Full screen and 100% and 50% zoom are all fine, and I went back to...

Choppy when 200% zoom

Whenever I play files at normal size, or full screen, they run perfectly fine, smoothly and wonderful. If I try to make it double size, 200% zoom, it gets all choppy... I don't think i've changed...
