Ok I finally solved it.

To anyone having the same issue just go to:
Options>Preferences>Video-- Then under General tab just uncheck "Cut top and bottom of video in full screen mode"

Pressing numpad 5 doesn't do anything. It just resets at 0% pan scan which is default. But 4:3 ratio is still overscanned at full screen therefore losing picture information.

I just don't get why...
