I got the same error with some vobsubbed ogms. Bsplayer seems to crash because of the idx file; the ogm alone plays just fine. You can avoid this error by making a bsi file with
[Movie]
Directory=.
FName=filenamex.ogm
in it and then starting the player via this file. It worked fine for me with version 0.85.490.
