Default Subtitles and movies problems in 804 and 805 builds

Hi everyone,

I encoded some of my DVDs to AVI format. Used DVDx for the encoding, codecs DivX 5.0.5 and Xvid. Now when I try to watch them some of them makes BSPlayer (version 1 build 804) show me following notice:

BSPlayer v1.00.804, Unhandled exception at EIP: 00404300
If you click 'Close' application will be terminated.
Please report this info to the author with description what were you doing.
Access violation at address 00404300 in module 'bsplay.exe'. Read of address 01398000

It is still however possible to continue watching the movie because the notice leaves me an option to continue. What bothers me is that I can't add subtitles (ripped by SubRip 1.17, format *.sub) to the movie because when I try it BSPlayer says:

BSPlayer v1.00.804, Unhandled exception at EIP: 00404300

I thought that the bug could be solved once I install the newer version of BSPlayer (build 805) but after that it is impossible to watch the movie at all. The BSPlayer notices:

Access violation at address 004DFBEF in module 'bsplay.exe'. Read of address 00B67FF8

What is the problem? Why can't I have subtitles in the build 804 and why can't I even start encoded movies in the build 805? I presume it is not the question of encoding codecs, the bug involves both DivX 5.0.5 as well as Xvid movies. I have Win2000.
