Hello adicoto
Please, let me answer you comments.
> 15 days trial version
The trial version is running 30 days without any limitation, i.e., if you have
got and installed a trial license from
www.bitcontrol.com. After the trial
period the trial license falls back into demo mode.
> Huge and nasty DEMO VERSION logo, 10 times bigger than Elecard's,

If you have installed a trial or a full version license, then the logo disappears
immediately.

The bitcontrol(r) MPEG-2 decoder is a DirectShow filter only. It's not a
programm, which needs an item on launch panel. There are three ways
to uninstall the decoder:
- to launch c:\program files\common files\bitctrl\uninstall.exe
- via control panel --> add or remove programs --> bitcontrol(r) MPEG-2 decoder
(in German: Systemsteuerung --> Software --> bitcontrol(r) MPEG-2 decoder)
- commend line command to unregister:
regsvr32 /u "c:\program files\common files\bitctrl\bcMPEG2vd.ax"

Sorry. I don't understand your displeasure. The decoder works very well
with MS demultiplexer, MS DVD navigation filter and MS video renderer.
There may be some issues with splitters of other vendors, if the filter
pins are not correct implemented or if they have some tricky features,
e.g., the MainConcept splitter output supports program stream only,
the MS renderer does not handle the aspect ration correct and the
player has to include the MS overlay mixer, ... etc. ?!
If you want to help us to improve the functionality and reliability of the
decoder, then let me know. In this case I will give you a full version
as gift.
In August we will release version 1.2 with some improvements, e.g.
filter options like "force HW bob", screen capturing, subpicture etc.
If you like, I can send you a prerelease.

The player decides on available filter pins and on the merrit (priority), which
filters he can use to construct the filter graph.
