I have seen many times this error on VirtualDub (I use it often) and my opinion is that is generated by an older XviD decoder used to decode a movie compressed with a newer XviD compresor.
Download one of the builds I have mentioned and install it.
To be sure, open one of this files with BSPlayer and see in options->filters what decoder is used to decompress the movie.
