Hi, thanks for the reply...

I just updated from DX8.1 to DX9.0c and installed newest video drivers.
I ran DXDiag tests and get no problems.
I also uninstalled BSplayer, then installed it again.

No error messages from BSplayer.
But still the same problem.

My video chip is internal ATI Rage Pro AGP 2x 4MB @ 1024x768x32bit - is that not enough for BSplayer to play 640x480 files? But Windows Media Player can play it no problem and very fast.!

The only way i can play it is if I:
Change desktop resolution to 800x600 or 640x480
OR
Change desktop Color Depth to 16-bit
OR
Control Panel--Display properties--Settings--Advanced--Troubleshooting and drag the bar to "Disable all DirectDraw and Direct3D accelerations...." or lower... but the video then plays slow which is no good.

If I can't solve this problem I will have to go back to Windows Media Player even though I hate it.
