I rather use Haali's splitter.
Weird thing is that the changelog of 1.35.823 mentioned improved compatibility with Haali's splitter. I don't understand why BSplayer needs to be made compatible (apart from advanced graph building). Haali's splitter works fine even with the old WMP 6.4.
I tried the mp4 file with Nero's splitter instead of Haali's. The file plays, but without subs.
