just a good thing that bsplayer should have is the possibility to return information about media playing that a plugin can handle to print on lcd.
Another good thing is to print on through OSD the file information like total time/ playing time before ends/ bitrate video/bitrate audio and the possibility to user to choice to view this through a button :
Time button
first press= Total time
second press = playing time before ends

Information button
first press= bitrate video / bitrate audio
second press= audio codec /video codec

??+µ (like DVD player it should be a great thing to have I think)
