AFAIK DSP means Digital
Signal Processing, in fact all digital encoding devices have DSPs (Digital Signal Processors) in them to process sound and video.
(today I made an exam on this field :lol: )
For Winamp the major use is for audio since Winamp started as an mp3 player, but DSPs can handle (and are specialized for) digital signals processing in general
Maybe an audio crossfader can work, maybe tomorrow I'll give it a try :)
It's true that there are people with good programming skills, but I think that to make a video processing plugin to integrate into BSplayer is a bit complicated (if not impossible), they should write a dsp plugin :roll:
I will not start to write one :P
