Well, i got DirectX v9 installed, and i have no problems with the volume, either in fullscreen or in window.

I dont have one of those fancy new graphics card, i got a ATI Xpert 2000 pro card.

Platform Winxp sp1

Tried with bsplayer v0.8.6.493 and v0.8.6.494. No problems.
