Actually H264 requres ALOT of processing power. BSplayer uses 40% of my 2.6 GHz P4. I downloaded the clips Tizio suggested. Now I'll proceed to testing.
Edit: mewmew-vorbis-ssa.mkv crashed the program.

Edit 2: Seems that Haali is the center of this problem. I installed MatroskaSplitter.ax v1.0.2.7 and Beyblade videos suddenly ran fine. MewMew still wouldn't open in BSPlayer (it did in mplayer2.exe), most likely because BS became confused about the unsupported subtitle streams.
