If you uninstall DXN filters, then they cannot be used. You can also start up GSpot in expert mode and lower the merits of undesirable filters.
I have not tested any DXN software but most likely (keeping in mind the size of installation packages) they install a lot of useless bundled applets. They cause problems. You do not need anything called DivX Player or DivX Bundle, if you have ffdshow installed (and you do).
