Default How to connect the output of a splitter into a decoder?

Well, now I'm trying to solve my problems with MP4 files playback. I usually read MP4 files with VLC, since it's been a long time I can't read them in BSP and MPC.

When I open a MP4 file in Bsplayer, it first displays a message box saying "unknown file type", then it plays the audio only.
Take a look at the attached picture. In Graphedit, the output of the splitter only goes to the audio.
The splitter used is Gabest MP4 splitter.
The mp4UI program tells me that the video inside this MP4 container is MPEG4 encoded ("MPEG-4 Advanced simple @ L3b").
Usually the MPEG4 encoded videos are read by ffdshow on my system.
How can I connect this splitter to a MPEG4 decoder?

I hope I don't bother you with all my questions :) Anyway all of this is going in my FAQ wich is groing big now and will help other people I hope.
