The config panel for FFDSHOW will get enabled only when ffdshow is chosen to decode the current clip and is the first filter in filtergraph right after the media splitter (see
Grendizer's FAQ if you want to know more about filtergraph). You might have ffdshow installed but another filter still has higher priority.
